Kayla is a seasoned HR professional dedicated to helping small businesses navigate the complexities of human resources. With years of diverse experience spanning the full spectrum of HR disciplines, she brings a comprehensive and strategic approach to every client engagement.

Kayla's extensive background includes deep expertise in Recruiting, Benefit & Leave Administration, Compensation, Employee Relations, Compliance, HRIS Implementation/Management, and more. This broad foundation allows her to provide holistic and practical solutions tailored to the unique needs of growing businesses.

She holds both a Bachelor and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialized focus in HR Management from UNC Wilmington. Complementing her academic achievements, she is also a nationally certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) through the HR Certification Institute (HRCI), demonstrating her commitment to the highest standards of the HR profession.

Her passion lies in empowering small businesses. She has a proven track record of working effectively with and for small to medium-sized enterprises, both locally in North Carolina and across the United States.
